DESCRIPTION:For most males and females who experience the death of a loved one\, the impact and especially the expression of mourning can be so drastically different. Cultural scripts often determine a path that contains expectation on how one expresses feelings\, behaviors they engage in\, and accepting of support. DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to announce that we will be offering our own support group for grievers in 2025! \nThis Support Group is an 8-week experience in understanding the impact of loss and pathways to healing. This loss group experience will explore the following: \n\nAn understanding of the biology of grief.\nExplore current state of bereavement.\nWhat are normal grief reactions.\nHow Loss has impacted your personal life.\nIdentify personal barriers to mourning and understands one’s journey to growth and healing.\nAn understanding of the trajectory of the healing experience.\nRituals for healthy healing.\n\nThis loss group requires the completion of eight weeks’ experience. It is not designed for those who will attend occasionally. It is a short-term experience that is built on important steps to embrace loss in our everyday living.
